Day wise Itinerary

Arrival Guwahati Airport (GAU) / Guwahati Railway Station (GHY) – Bhalukpong
Guwahati (1148 Ft / 350 Mts)
Bhalukpong (700 Ft / 213 Mts, 245 Kms / 05 to 06 Hrs drive approx)
Arrive Guwahati Airport (GAU) / Guwahati Railway Station (GHY). Meet and greet and transfer to Bhalukpong. On arrival check in to the hotel. Overnight stay at Bhalukpong.

Note: Every Indian tourist visiting Arunachal Pradesh has to obtain ILP (Inner Line Permit) at Bhalukpong border before entering the state against submission of photo identity card and two copies of passport size photographs.

Bhalukpong – Local Sightseeing – Dirang Dirang (5120 Ft / 1560 Mts, 170 Kms / 06 to 07 Hrs drive approx) Today after breakfast drive to Dirang, enroute at Tipi visit Orchid Center and enroute visit Sessa Orchid Sanctuary (blooming is from end March till May), reach Dirang and then visit Dirang Dzong and Monpa village. Check into the hotel and overnight at Dirang.
Dirang – Local Sightseeing – Tawang Tawang (10000 Ft / 3048 Mts, 160 Kms / 06 to 07 Hrs drive approx) After breakfast drive to Tawang, enroute you will visit Sella Pass and Sella Lake situated at an altitude of 13476 ft. Also visit Jaswant Ghar and before reaching Tawang visit the Nunarang fall. Reach Tawang and check in to the Hotel. Overnight at Tawang.
Tawang – Local Monastery – Tawang Tawang (10000 Ft / 3048 Mts) After breakfast, today visit Tawang Monastery – The Famous Gaden Namgyal Lhatse, popularly known as Tawang Monastery was founded by Merak Lama Lodre Gyatso in the year 1680-81. The monastery stands on the spur of a hill, about 10,000 feet above sea level and has ravines in the south and west, narrow ridge on the north and gradual slope on the east. It offers a commanding and picturesque view of the Tawang-chu valley. From a distance it appears like a fort as if guarding the votaries in the wide valley below. Tawang monastery is the largest of its kind in the country and is one of the largest t monasteries in Asia. Though it has the capacity for housing about seven hundred monks, the actual number of resident lamas (monks) at present is a little more than 450. This monastery is the fountain-head of the spiritual life of the people of this region. Also visit Urgelling Monastery – the birth place of Sixth Dalia Lama. Ani Gompa ,After a late lunch and refreshment visit Tawang War Memorial and evening at leisure. Overnight at Tawang.

Tawang – Bumla Pass (On Direct Payment) – Tawang

Today morning after early breakfast, you will drive to visit high altitude lake called as Shonga-tser Lake, popularly known as Madhuri Lake located 35, kms away from Tawang near the China Border. The drive to Sangestser Lake is full of thrill and one can still see the war bankers that had been used during the Chinese aggression in 1962. Nestled amidst the pristine mountains and picturesque surrounding, It was formed in the aftermath of the 1950 earthquake. Prior to the earthquake, this piece of land used to be employed as the grazing ground for the cattle. The evidence of it can be seen in the protruding trunks of the dead trees from the middle of the lake. The lake has been under supervision of Army men, who have also arranged for a cafeteria nearby. Tourists can relish on the delicious Momos, Maggis topped with a cup of tasty coffee or tea. Tourists can also take to trekking around the lake while enjoying the gentle lashes of the pleasant breeze around. You can drive further to Bumla Pass which is located about 37 km away from Tawang at the Indo-China border over 15,200 ft above sea level. During return take a photo stop at the beautiful PTSO lake enroute (17 kms away from Tawang, Pangong Tang Tso Lake popularly known as PT Tso which is an extremely scenic drive with bird’s eye view of the township below). Later in the afternoon drive back to hotel. Rest of the evening at leisure. Overnight at hotel.

1. Our vehicles are not allowed to do PTSo lake, Madhuri lake & Bumla Pass Sightseeing, The guests needs to hire local vehicle for the same, where our driver will can assist the guests in organizing the same on additional cost , We have no control on this local vehicle .
2. Generally this additional charge varies between Rs.5000/- to Rs.7000/- for covering 02 points & Rs.7000/- to Rs.9000/- for covering all 03 points.
Bumla la pass is a border between India & China, hence additional formalities are involved, Kindly refer enter & documentation formalities

Tawang – Local Sightseeing – Bomdila Bomdila (7923 Ft / 2415 Mts, 180 Kms / 06 to 07 Hrs drive approx) After breakfast drive to Bomdila – the head quarter of West Kameng District of Arunachal Pradesh and also known for its Buddhist monasteries. It has a lot of attractions for the visitors for its cool climate. On arrival check in to the hotel. Later visit Gontse Rabgyaling Monastery (Upper Gonpa), Thub-Chog Gatsel Ling Monastery (Lower Gonpa).Bomdila offers wonderfully panoramic view of Himalayan landscapes and snow clad ranges. Evening you can visit the local market. Overnight stay at Bomdila.
Bomdila – Guwahati Guwahati (1148 Ft / 350 Mts, 280 Kms / 08 to 09 Hrs drive approx) After breakfast, today you drive to Guwahati, On arrival checkin to the hotel. Overnight in Guwahati.
Guwahati – Guwahati Airport (GAU) / Guwahati Railway Station (GHY) for departure Guwahati (1148 Ft / 350 Mts, 25 Kms / 01 Hrs drive approx) After breakfast transfer to Guwahati Airport (GAU) / Guwahati Railway Station (GHY) for onwards connection
